Bespoke Artwork for Hotels, Restaurants, Cruise Ships and Bars
Working with hotels and interior designers to create and supply art, framing, mirrors, sculptures and accessories.
Hilton Paddington GWR Tower
Located on Paddington Station, the art deco Hilton London Paddington, is one of the city’s grandest Victorian hotels, with 419 guest rooms, including 35 suites. In 2012/13 we provided a bespoke artwork package of framed deco style prints – two years later, we have put together an artwork and mirror collection for the guest rooms and corridors situated in the elegant, adjoining GWR (Great Western Railway) Tower.
One outstanding feature of the sophisticated Hilton Baku hotel is the beautiful 21 storey lobby atrium featuring a pair of 4 metre commissioned artworks on canvas. This 5 star hotel has more than 300 guest rooms with framed prints and original, commissioned artworks, that we sourced, packed and shipped overland; the corridors, Public Areas and dining rooms feature specially designed wallpaper, and groups of eclectic artwork that enhance the contemporary interior.
Situated on the bank of the River Thames, the addition of the Ascot Suite at this four star hotel, required framed prints for the suites and corridor, with racing memorabilia framed and hung in the lobby area. A collection of signed pieces and jockey-wear was sourced and framed in keeping with the requested horse racing theme.
The second hostel in the award winning Safestay brand, is located in a magnificent city centre building, featuring a Rococo ceiling and ornate Georgian fireplaces. The artwork and mirrors were ‘tongue in cheek’ and quirky, while reflecting the building’s grand historical heritage.
Taking into account cultural sensibilities, we sourced and provided framed prints and canvases for this women only university, the largest of its kind in the world. The campus included administration buildings; a 700bed student hospital; laboratories; research centres and residential accommodation. MC Art organised packing and crating for shipping.
